Medical and dental- Homefront pays 55% of individual Medical and Dental insurance (the employee must work at least 30 hours a week to choose this benefit). Day Benefits- 8 paid holidays a year, 1 week vacation after 1 year, 2 weeks thereafter, paid travel time between clients and mileage reimbursement of $.37 between clients. Health Care offers a special program for full time CNA's who commit to work
Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm, or 12pm to 8pm. Guaranteed
35 hour minimum paid workweek with benefits. The CNA must also be
willing to travel to accommodate client and agency needs.
Receive your hourly rate for attending inservices. We are
committed to providing educational opportunities for our staff. Homefront
provides paid orientation to our agency.
$1.00/hr Shift Differential for hours worked after 3pm to 7am
weekdays and $1.00/hr for weekend hours worked. From 3pm to 7am Saturday
and Sunday, shift differential is $2.00/hr.
A coordinator and a RN Nursing Supervisor is on call to provide
support in the field.
Homemakers: Positions are available for homemakers who have completed a 25 hour program. Full or part time hours are available. A car is required. All benefit options available. Homefront periodically holds Homemaker Training Programs. Contact the office near you to inquire about the next training class. Training classes are held on a monthly basis. Companions: Part time hours are available for companions. A car is required. Companions must complete the homemaker training program. All benefit options are available. Nurses: There are occasional openings for RN's and LPN's with special needs pediatric experience. The children are living in homes and most hours are in the evening and on weekends. The medication management program involves a weekly visit to setup up medications and assessment for the at risk senior.
