Lifeline

These devices are attached to a telephone and have the
capability of bringing emergency help to people home alone. By pressing a
button worn around the neck or wrist, the emergency response unit will
automatically call a central answering station that is staffed 7 days a week, 24
hours per day. A trained operator will attempt to contact the client
through a speaker in the unit and will summon the appropriate help. |

Lifeline Program Coordinator, at 738-0409.
